Government initiative- MyGDI

I have encountered several friend questioning me about Geo Sense and roles of MACGDI and MyGDI.
MyGDI is as in her website is an initiative by the government to develop a Geospatial Data Infrastructure to enhance the awareness about data availability and improve access to geospatial information by facilitating data sharing among participating agencies.

MyGDI provides indexing of geo spatial data online.
Public be able to access, order and purchase online.
Assuming agencies already GIS platform in place.
Agency knows how to manage spatial data.

There is no online GIS tools provide by MyGDI.
Geo Sense provides platform and data.
